Journal files grow limitlessly
I've got the following setting in my knot configuration:
ixfr-fslimit 10M;
However, this does not appear to be working. I discovered this when I noticed that one of our Knot servers was running out of disk space (its /var partition had reached 100% usage). Here's some output showing some journal files and their sizes:
-rw-r----- 1 knot knot 4295324328 Nov 20 17:21 lv.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 1498561092 Nov 20 13:15 103.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 675340554 Nov 19 18:12 180.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 615971849 Nov 20 16:15 106.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 495001396 Nov 19 18:13 118.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 472356477 Nov 20 16:13 124.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
-rw------- 1 knot knot 416208588 Nov 19 18:12 27.in-addr.arpa.diff.db
Notice how big the journal files are. The biggest one is 4.1 GB in size. I thought the ixfr-fslimit option would prevent journal from growing too big, but that's not the case.
Have I misunderstood the option, or is there a bug?
