The country setting from reForis is not applied to the Wi-Fi cards
Because of different wireless regulations in different countries, it is needed to adapt the Wi-Fi frequency range according to the placement of the router (i.e. in Germany). Nevertheless, reForis allows choosing a channel, which is not allowed in the country set up at the "Region and Time" tab, or the `auto" option sometimes chooses a forbidden channel. It looks like the global region setting is not sent to the Wi-Fi cards themselves:
