It makes sense to have there luci-lighttpd package as well. Because we are using Lighttpd as the default web server for Turris OS.
1. [ ] Investigate if luci-lighttpd is necessary
- [ ] Create package: luci-lighttpd
- [ ] Create SSL package: luci-ssl-lighttpd
2. [ ] Drop patches when we are removing uhttpd from LuCI (https://gitlab.nic.cz/turris/os/build/-/blob/f28b2b9d76a80a7ba185707faa2908af6ffc285b/patches/luci/branding/0001-Drop-uhttpd-dependency.patch)
3. [ ] Switch to luci-lighttpd package(s)
Would be nice to have it for Turris OS 7.0 or even upstream it ASAP to have it included in upstream and then backport it. This also allows users in OpenWrt to use Lighttpd and LuCI without hassle and it will not require additional tweaks.Turris OS 8.0https://gitlab.nic.cz/turris/os/build/-/issues/403Syncthing: Failed to create folder root directory mkdir /Sync: permission denied2023-02-24T13:50:39+01:00Michal VyskocilSyncthing: Failed to create folder root directory mkdir /Sync: permission deniedUpon login syncthing application warns about the folder root directory. As others have reported ([in this forum](https://github.com/Anime4000/RTL960x#sucess-story)), I believe that 2500baseX mode should work transparently.
Perhaps, I can see in the logs that, after setting this mode in ODI side, it gets downgraded to 1000baseX mode.

The commands and output I ran:

Additional info.
Current version of __smartctl__ behaves odd after interrupting its execution by pressing Ctrl-C.
For example, the interrupted command was:
```shell
# /dev/sda - hard drive connected to Turris using mPCI-E card
smartctl -x /dev/sda # pressed Ctrl-C during execution
```
Since then, I get the following program issues (when using with switches: `-i`, `-a`), the same disk:
```less
smartctl -i /dev/sda
smartctl 7.2 2020-12-30 r5155 [armv7l-linux-5.15.84] (localbuild)
The boot loop starts immediately after inserting the dongle. First I've tried the kmod-dvb-usb-cxusb - then I've tried to install kmod-dvb-usb-dvbsky at the same time, then removed cxusb module with rmmod and opkg. In the end I ended in the bootloop below with the tuner connected.
Hostapd is running either when the previous config from TOS 5.x is used, default config on TOS 6.0 (after wifi reset) is used or wifi is configured, but explicitly disabled.
Something is starting hostapd regardless of the wifi configuration. But at least no wifi Access Point is visible and transmitting - or at least it doesn't happen on my omnia.
```
[ -f "$USER_DHCPSCRIPT" ] && . "$USER_DHCPSCRIPT" "$@"
```
But even if now there is hotplug, `/etc/init.d/resolver` does
```
DHCP_SCRIPT=/etc/resolver/dhcp_host_domain_ng.py
[...]
set_dhcp_script() {
uci_set dhcp "@dnsmasq[0]" dhcpscript "$DHCP_SCRIPT"
uci_commit dhcp
}
```
So it sets the Python script, which is then attempted to be sourced, causing errors in the logs:
```
Oct 19 19:12:02 router dnsmasq-script[5182]: /usr/lib/dnsmasq/dhcp-script.sh: /etc/resolver/dhcp_host_domain_ng.py: line 3: import: not found
```
(from https://forum.turris.cz/t/turris-os-6-0-is-released/17830/74)
If this means of setting DHCP clients in DNS is redundant (and looks like it is), the `resolver` init script should be adjusted accordingly.Turris OS 6.4.0https://gitlab.nic.cz/turris/os/build/-/issues/373kernel 5.15.70 Failed to find vfat. SSH shell is completely ignoring LC locale settings for UTF-8 support and treats every send byte separately, ignoring UNICODE or wide character settings. This makes terminals unusable on modern systems.
Simple reproducer: Type `echo á` then press backspace and then press enter. It should not write anything on the terminal. As soon as you have a medkit, which name includes a space in the name, the rescue mode on my Omnia can't recognize it.
For example, when I download medkits from different branches (HBL/HBS, etc.) from the [repo](https://repo.turris.cz), they have the very same name `omnia-medkit-latest.tar.gz` but my OS will add a suffix to the name `omnia-medkit-latest (1).tar.gz` in case the file was already downloaded earlier.
![image](/uploads/981b29c51a9d7908e8c9ece3872d8fa7/image.png)
From my terminal with a connected device, I see that the rescue mode is waiting for `omnia-medkit-*` on USB, but can't see the medkit with ` (1)` and it's not obvious.
I hope it does make sense, thanks!Michal HruseckyMichal Hrusecky
