Add postupdate hook to support Alternatives in packages · e28d6f21
      Karel Koci authored
Upstream added field 'Alternatives' to packages that has following
      format:
      Alternatives: [PRIO:TARGET:SOURCE]..
Where PRIO defines priority of this pair (when there are packages with
multiple TARGETs then the one with highest priority wins). TARGET is
path to link it self and SOURCE is target of link.

This is just hack. We should really support them in some more elegant
way or completely replace them with something more versatile.

There is known problem that this implementation lefts unremoved invalid
      links in file system.

      Rename /etc/updater/entry.lua to /etc/updater/conf.lua · 01ed0e9f
      Karel Koci authored
It is root configuration and should be named that way. This is just more
appropriate name. Yes it is an entry point to configuration but that is
      secondary.

Do not build entry.lua to pkgupdate · acadba87
      Karel Koci authored
entry.lua is more or less configuration and in reality we don't need it
for any migration. It no longer has anything relevant inside and
everything is in directory /etc/updater/conf.d anyway. Note about
migration makes no sense in current setup as pkgupdate is in the same
      package as this configuration file.

Fix segfault when md5 function is called on some architectures · 59a3504b
      Karel Koci authored
sprintf always writes terminating zero byte. But that was writing
outside of allocated buffer and tainting some other variable. In
debugged case it was argument L in lua_md5 function. This fix now takes
terminating character in to account and should prevent variables
      tainting.

This was probably excited by optimisations on aarch64. It probably
inlined push_hex function and shuffled stack content.

      Add cleanup functions · ef01234a
      Karel Koci authored
These new functions should be used for correct cleanup. Idea is that you
will register your cleanup function that would be called if fatal error
is detected and if no such error happens then you will call cleanup_run
to call and unregister given cleanup function anyway.

      Cleanup luacheck.config · a2bae936
      Karel Koci authored
Since we are using new version of luacheck we can drop some of the old
definitions. Modules are now automatically detected by luacheck and
listing them out is no longer necessary.

Add options --model and --board · 1c3769dc
      Karel Koci authored
This also moves some configuration variables from backend to separate
      syscnf module.
Original design where hard coded in values were used as defaults is not
replaced with design where set function is required to be called before
anything is done. Commonly that is suppose to be done in C before we
      start using other Lua modules.
Thanks to new options --model and --board we can now set target even
outside of the router environment without requiring /tmp tainting. It's
now also not possible to run updater's executables on non-openwrt
platform without specifying those two options.
