server fallback

Hello,

I recently setup the required backend servers and changed the addresses in the urls.js file to point to my servers. The website worked and speed test ran smoothly but I was very skeptical and I intentionally typed the address in the urls.js incorrectly and the speed test still worked. So, that made me wonder if my backend servers are actually working or there is some kind of a backend fallback that connects to your servers instead of mine. Is there something like that or the speed test is actually independent from the control servers?
