Linking build system / packaging with `kresd`

At some point in the future, we will have to link kresd and the manager together into a single package. How could we do that? This issue is meant to track the ideas we have...

Option 1: kresd's build system on top

kresd's build system could manage the whole build and would invoke creation of a package with the manager. This pure manager package would then be merged into the existing kresd package.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
