Updater module does not count with Approvals

I am using Approvals on Turris 1.1, Btrfs, Turris OS 5.1.0.

If you run /usr/share/diagnostics/diagnostics.sh updater, it seems that it is stuck. While looking in /var/log/messages, I am able to see that it does something indeed. However, it does not finish as it require to approve it. This leads to almost unusable system as you can not use opkg due to

* opkg_conf_load: Could not lock /var/lock/opkg.lock: Resource temporarily unavailable

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
