High CPU Load by Foris-Controller + SoftIRQ
Hello,
this is my first post here.
I'm using Turris Mox since a while now and am pretty happy with it.
Unfortunately since a few weeks my internet connection became very unreliable - after a reboot of Mox all works fine but after some days it becomes unstable, slow and eventually unusable so I have to reboot again.
Right after booting the CPU load is quite high mostly due to SoftIRQ load and several threads of Foris-Controller.
It stays like that but may increases slowly and CPU becomes unresponsive eventually I guess.
The case of my Mox becomes quite warm and internal temperature sensor reads something about 73-77°C all the time.
I have a Turris Mox A + D (SFP) powered by PoE.
SFP is my WAN (1Gbit/s, DHCP). Ethernet port is my LAN. It's configured as Router and running DHCP Server, DynDNS, Firewall - just basic stuff. Removing HaaS, Sentinel and so on didn't help either.
I've installed latest TurrisOS 5.3.1 but problem exists since a few versions ago. I did a complete re-installation of firmware with a new SD-card in the meantime which didn't help either.
Please let me know which further information you need to investigate.
Kind regards,
nasi
