Using == as test condition is bashism. While ash is willing to swallow
that, there are shells that aren't.

mail_notifier: Disabled multiple tries to send message. Messages are marked with stamp even if smtp server is not configured.

mail_notifier: Check for enabled smtp right before msmtp call and do not exit if smtp is not configured.

So we don't remove kernel modules installed by user.

When we find out we are on a development box, include even the logs of
the user packages form updater.

The pclose also waits for the process to terminate and cleans up the
zombie. The original caused hunted systems with thousands of zombies.

So don't try to revive it if it is not installed.
