Request for kmod-usb-serial-ftdi package
I have a smart energy meter for which I can monitor energy consumption. I can connect my turris to it with a so called P1 cable (USB to RJ11). It should create a /dev/ttyUSB* device, but I'm afraid the needed driver is not build.
root@turris:~# lsusb

No kernel messages showed up when connecting the cable.
I believe I need the ftdi_sio.ko
kernel module which is (with OperWRT) provided through the kmod-usb-serial-ftdi
package.
Can I request to port that package to Turris OS Packages? Or is there something I can do myself to compile this module?
Thanks!
