@agumroian is on vacation, @msasek would you please take a look? You can even put it into Backlog , it is up to you how you will handle this issue. On the other hand, it would be awesome to have some switch button option to choose if you want to have 24-hour clock format even though you are using English.
Really? A choice? Just for such tinny thing?
I am open to change to 24-hour clock but as bases not as selection. It makes really no sense to allow choice in here I think.
Then there is going to be some userbase, which is going to complain why we are using 24-hour clock, so user should decide it and switch what she/he wants to use.
We are here to make routers, not to satisfy every single complain. Both of the formats are standard time formats. People are encountering them every single day. I would be ok with any one but adding switch? That is complexity and development time just to shut some whiners I think. reForis should be user friendly but that won't be achieved by adding additional switches.
Well the best option would be to use some localization library to show it in "locally" preferred format. I am not sure if that is not even used in reForis somewhere.
You mean "locally" preferred format as some localization settings of the user's browser?
Yeah.. I mean browser should give you hints such as first day of week or date and time format. I am not web developer but in desktop environment this is common and standard and there are libraries helping with that. I hope that same facilities should be in browsers as well.
