feature request: Allow setting VLAN ids for interfaces
Summary
Allow setting VLAN ids to interfaces in the Interfaces Section
Description
Currently it's possible to create a guest network. However it's only possible to assign physical lan ports to that segregated network. For everyone using additional/separate Access-Point(s) that are capable of supporting multiple ssid's and assigning them to VLAN's (like in my case Unifi AP AC Pro's) it would be much appreciated if there would be an option to create a vlan interface for each lan port.
What makes this even more important is :
- luci has no obvious way of doing it
- neither openwrt nor turris has any valid documentation on this
- it's almost trivial to do, however digging it up on the www is anything but...
- gui modifications would be rather small
Example
i have lan4 hooked up to my AP so it's assigned to lan and should remain so. on my AP i have created a guest network assigned to vlan 10, that should go to the guest network on the TO.
so now i need to create a virtual interface on lan4 for vlan 10 and assign it to the guest network :
ip link add link lan4 name lan4.10 type vlan id 10
uci set network.guest_turris.ifname 'lan1 lan4.10'
