"warning: address '[…]' is not available" is confusing
Hi,
Several times when I've been reading Knot logs I've found messages like:
info: binding to interface '[…]'
warning: address '[…]' is not available
which is confusing. Only after (re-)reading the source and investigating the running server further is it apparent that Knot did sucessfully bind the socket, but the bind required a socket option to force a nonlocal bind.
I'd suggest making this warning message a bit more explicit to help out the folks reading the logs, like:
info: binding to interface '[…]'
warning: address '[…]' bound, but required nonlocal bind
Thanks!
