release 5.5.0

LGTM, it will need just:

• adjusting .mailmap to correctly detect all of your aliases (you can run ./scripts/update-authors.sh manually)
• setting the date to 15th of March, otherwise the check will fail tomorrow

Packaging tests are passing. There are some build issues with OBS, but these are kind of expected - Arch and EPEL8 are missing dependencies, alternative architectures fail on fedora rawhide and f35, but that kind of happens on fedora.

This seems good to go.
