Knot Resolver and Unbound will be installed side by side. It depends, if it is existing configuration or not. We don't want to break critical part of router features and functions, we will use Knot Resolver in new installations (e.g. medkit) and existing routers will use unbound.

One of our kernel developers is working to improve powerpc support in U-boot and while he was working at it, he prepare a new U-boot version for old our Turris 1.x routers, which means that in upcoming U-boot versions Turris 1.x will be supported.
