Fonts shouldn't be loaded from Google servers
As reported on our forum, the current version of reForis (in Turris OS 7.0.0) contains fonts loaded directly from Google servers. It is probably a bug and is wrong due to the following reasons:
- We shouldn't load anything from any remote servers (especially from services that are spying users like Google). All content should be served from the device itself.
- If the Internet connection doesn't work, the fonts aren't loaded and the content is displayed using another font and thus in less quality.
I've found the following code (in /reforis/static/reforis/css/app.css
):
@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:400,700,400italic);
It loads a CSS file from fonts.googleapis.com
that subsequently loads two font files from fonts.gstatic.com
. I can't foreclose any other occurences of such fonts.
