In my point of view, board should mean to see photos of motherboard of the router, but we see board covered by box with antennas, thus it should be router in alt description

Reflect the actual way schnapps uses gpg to encrypt snapshot exports. The archive is just symmetrically encrypted with the chosen password, not by a GPG key encrypted with the password. See https://gitlab.nic.cz/turris/schnapps/-/blob/v2.8.0/schnapps.sh#L571-580

For some users, who have Turris 1.x, it could be problematic to use the migration process, which might take some time. Provide steps how they can download medkit and flash it to factory snapshots once they have Btrfs on their router. It was requested by our support department to bring it back.

The final wave, which migrated configuration from Turris OS 3.x to Turris OS 5.x happened on 4th January 2022. So, in my point of view, it is good to announce the end of life for Turris OS 3.x - 3 days later on 7th January 2022.

Based on the reporting on forum, it seems that in some cases wget is not installed and thus it can not download the medkit. Wget is provided from NAS and LXC package lists and it does not harm to have it installed on Turris OS 3.x.

The users of this documentation are using SD card so we should warn that these steps are not most likely what they are looking for. Instead this points them to the steps for SD card.

The same steps have to be performed for factory reset and in general it is more important to explain users how to perform factory reset for Turris 1.x routers on SD card than how to migrate now. This also fixes problem that kernel would not match modules. The kernel has to be updated from factory before rollback.

It is not easy even to Turris developers to orient them self in Turris repositories. The external contributors have that even harder. This should make possible that more of the external contributors are going to identify the correct repository to report issue in or submit pull request to.

Our Gitlab probably is never going to be public for forks creation and now we mirror all our repositories to Github.com so we can just point users there.
